Being a Pittsburgh photographer and capturing many different events, couples and people in, around and throughout the city of Pittsburgh. I was excited to take this amazing couple on a journey through the city I love so much. Pittsburgh engagement sessions are always fun and exciting with new loving couples.
Brad and Bethany emailed me a few weeks ago asking if I would do an engagement session for them in the city because they just loved my work I have done around Pittsburgh so much. Instantly I was excited to get back in the city and take a loving couple on a journey or fun through the city, so I said yes. Having never met either of the two, I did not know what to expect as we only talked through email until the big day of our session. We had panned on incorporating many fun and exciting photographic places such as Station Square, Pittsburgh bridges, the city, PPG Place, The River, back alleys, The Convention Center, and just about any fun and hidden treasure of Pittsburgh that we could find.
So the big day came and within 5 minutes of meeting Bethany and Brad, I knew this couple was going to be a ton of fun. All three of us instantly clicked like we knew each other for years! As we got more and more in to our engagement session, I had to tell them less and less of what to do. It got to the point where we would find a nice spot and I would say just go over there. They would walk to where I pointed and they interacted with each other, showed their love for each other and just had a good time while I captured their date in the city.
By the time we were done with our shoot; we were all tired from the miles we journeyed through the city. I thought the whole time how great it would be to also shoot their wedding since at this point I was only doing their engagements. A few days after our fun session, I got an email from them thanking me for having such a fun time with them and that they wanted to hired me for their wedding. I played all cool and said how honored I would be to shoot their wedding. If they only knew I was doing backflips down my studio hall. HAHA Seriously I can’t do backflips but I wanted to.
Without further delay, I would like to share some of my favorite photos from our fun session in the city. I knew it was going to be a fun day when we were only 10 minutes into the session and Brad decided to climb a wall like he was spiderman. I think he would have made it to the top if it were not for his shoes.
Enjoy the photos and thank you for visiting our site and viewing our work. We look forward to working more with this wonderful couple and sharing more of our work with everyone soon.
