New Promo Video
Our final stage of our site transition is now completed. It has been a long process in moving from an all flash based website to just a blog site that supports html5, flash, java and more. It is shocking that some people still use such dated technology but we tried our best to move our site in a direction that will best fit clients that have newer technology but still support clients that have older technology. We realize that everyone is not like us and gets the latest and greatest computers, phones and tablets when they come out.
Our transition started back in November, 2010 when we decided it was time to rebrand our company. We also did not have the time to update both a website and a blog every time we wanted to refresh our look and feel. After researching what most of our clients were viewing our site on; ipads, iphones, android and older computers that did not support the latest versions of flash. We felt that our best move would be to change our site to a blog site.
Since moving to a blog site, we have been able to attract more clients and customers since they were able to view the entire site on their devices without any problems. Something that was an occasional issue with our old flash site. Our new blog site has enabled us to introduce more and newer features as they become available and is so much quicker to update too.
With that being said, we are proud to finally complete our transition to the new site. Since we started the transition we have introduced a new logo, new blog and site design, new store features, new pricing, new products, new albums, faster turnaround times, faster user experience on the new site and our new promo video. We are not done yet as this is just the beginning. Now that we are 100% switched over, we can concentrate on providing our clients with more amazing stuff.
Here is our new promo video that you can find on the main page of our site at http://www.photosbynick.com.
Thank you for looking and feel free to share this with your friends and family and as always, comments are welcome.
