I don’t know about the rest of the Pittsburgh photographers, but this year has to be the year of clients turning friends! Yet another awesome wedding with another awesome client that has become our new friends. I met Tom and Michelle last year when we did their engagement photos in South Park. They were so much fun to photograph being outdoors people, outgoing but laid back, and excited to try just about anything I asked. As the wedding got closer, I became closer with this great couple as we would talk through Facebook and email about planning their special day. I felt so honored when Michelle asked me for my opinion on some of the details of her wedding. I could not wait for the big day to get here, and I was only shooting it, not in it like they were
Finally Tom and Michelle’s big day came and it was a perfect day. Bright blue skies, another warm but not too hot day and every detail about their wedding was just perfect. I don’t know who was more excited about the reception at the Embassy Suites. Me or them?! Why? No other than No Bad JuJu was performing for their reception! If you have not experienced No Bad JuJu at a wedding then you have not experienced a great time. They have to be one of the best, if not the best wedding band around. I know a lot of great DJ’s that will rock a wedding, but if you want a band they are the way to go. I was so excited that Michelle booked them to get the party going.
The ceremony was in Baldwin, where I grew up and went to high school. It’s always nice to visit my home town to photograph a wedding. After the beautiful ceremony, we went to the waterfalls on Campbell’s Run Road in Robinson, PA. It is kind of funny that it is at an industrial park off the side of a highway, but it is so beautiful and there is so much we can do there!
After we had a fun time with the bridal party there, we were on our way to see No Bad JuJu perform at the EMbassy Suites by the Pittsburgh Airport. It was party time!
Before I show some of the photos from Tom and Michelle’s special wedding day, I just wanted to wish them the best of luck. I also wanted to thank you for becoming such an amazing friend to me and thank you for letting me capture your wedding day. I had so much fun and I really enjoyed coming over the day after for the family get together. Your families were so nice and were so much fun to work with. I can not wait to share the rest of the photos with you guys.
Enjoy the photos and feel free to share them with friends and family!
The first time dad got to see his beautiful daughter on their special day. It is always great to experience this moment as a photographer. I sometimes shed a tear seeing how happy dads are to see their little princess all grown up.
I just love this green wall.
The walk from princess to Queen!
Isn’t she cute!
A mini groom. I just loved those top hats.
No Bad JuJu! Best wedding band ever.
Happily ever after!
